East meets West as Dr. Chibuzor ties the knot with his sweetheart, Feyikemi Oke in a one of a kind intertribal wedding.
After dating for 5 years before he proposed, the duo celebrated their love in a lavish affair held in Abeokuta, Ogun State on the 10th July, 2021.
Their beautiful intertribal wedding, which was the talk of the town for days afforded us the opportunity to experience firsthand the richness of the Yoruba and Igbo cultures. It also serves an avenue to remind us as individuals and as a nation of the beauty in our diversity.
A major highlight of the ceremony which featured a white wedding and a traditional engagement was the Father-Daughter dance between Feyikemi and her dad. It publicly demonstrated the love between father and daughter, which speaks a great deal about the importance of familial love and support.
Unions like Dr. Chibuzor and Feyikemi’s serve as a beacon of hope that we can unite despite our cultural and tribal differences.
The beautiful bride Feyikemi described Dr. Chibuzor as her best friend. Indeed, love cuts across all boundaries of tribe and ethnicity.
Don’t you just love the beautiful couple?
